A New Era for John Dory’s

John Dory's
John Dory's is excited to share the result of our consumer-led, creative exploration. We are proud to reveal our new refreshed brand identity and sit-down experience in our beautiful new look restaurant at Cavendish Square, in Cape Town – the restaurant opens on
15 July 2024. It has been a massive undertaking by all involved, and one that hasn’t been taken lightly – it is a huge milestone in the brand’s story, in acknowledging its history while looking to the future.
In its 28th year, John Dory’s has taken the bold step to refresh their brand to better meet the needs and expectations of customers. The new look is an evolution of the brand, drawing on its rich history and past successes, shifting it into a space that celebrates the seafood adventure and the elements that customers love about the brand. It elevates the experience of enjoying deliciously prepared, sustainably sourced seafood and sushi in surroundings that echo the ocean and its bounty.
In addition to the new logo and brand identity, the brand has updated its restaurant experience with a more stylish and sophisticated interior design language that complements every celebratory occasion and elevates the seafood lover’s experience, with a warmth that still welcomes family and friends, and invites the seafood novice to experience what would become their new favourite cuisine.
The new Cavendish Square restaurant is the brand’s first to open in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, and their first Halaal restaurant in South Africa, and ushers in a compelling new era for the brand – one that the brand is considerably excited about.
“John Dory’s is looking to the future, and, with a fresh new look, the brand is ready to take customers, both old and new, along for what promises to be a very exciting journey,” – Donovan Cronje, brand COO.
Your seafood adventure awaits!
