The Academy’s second cohort comprised 16 employees from across the Group, reflecting Spur’s transformation and inclusion priorities, with 75% black employees and 31% female representation. This cohort underscores Spur Corporation’s commitment to inclusive leadership development and to building a leadership community that reflects the diverse South African context. This programme represents a significant milestone in our efforts to build a robust and sustainable leadership pipeline through formalised career development and the accelerated growth of high potential individuals.

The Rising Leaders Academy was established to strengthen Spur Corporation’s leadership pipeline through structured, formalised career development processes and the fast tracking of high potential talent across the business.
